Q.How long have you been going, and can I check your reputation?
Jamie Daltrey started JD Plumbing Farnham as a sole trader in 2007, so we've been working across the area for nearly twenty years. The easiest way to check us is Checkatrade, where our work is scored 9.68 from 383-plus independently verified reviews — plus a 4.9 rating on Google.
Q.Do you charge a call-out fee?
There are no concealed call-out fees. You're given a clear price before any work begins, and emergencies are charged at an agreed flat rate rather than an open-ended clock. Reviewers repeatedly describe the pricing as fair and honest, which is exactly the standard we hold.
Q.Why do you bring in other trades instead of doing everything yourself?
Because a dedicated tiler, plasterer, electrician or decorator does that one thing every day — so the finish is better. As one customer said, 'you get much better quality and attention to detail than you would from the do-it-all fitters employed by a chain.' Jamie coordinates it all so you still have one point of contact.
Q.Do you do full bathrooms and wet rooms, or just repairs?
Both. Alongside everyday plumbing — leaks, dripping taps, toilet and shower repairs — we design and install full bathrooms, walk-in wet rooms, en-suites, cloakrooms and downstairs shower rooms, bringing in the right specialists for tiling, plastering and electrics. Right now there's 10% off bathroom and wet-room installs booked July to September 2026.
Q.Can you come out in an emergency?
Yes. We're open 24 hours a day Monday to Saturday for emergency call-outs — plumbing, electrical and building issues — at a clear flat rate, so a burst pipe or failed shower pump doesn't have to wait. We're closed on Sundays.
Q.Is your work guaranteed?
Yes. Every job carries a full 12-month guarantee on all labour and installations. If anything we've fitted isn't right within that year, we come back and sort it — no extra call-out, no argument.
Q.Which areas do you cover?
We're based at Badshot Lea near Farnham and cover Aldershot, Elstead, Alton, Bordon, Haslemere, Hindhead, Liphook and Fleet across the Surrey–Hampshire border, plus Guildford, Camberley, Ascot, Woking, Weybridge and West Byfleet.
