Case studies
The problem, the fix, and the verdict.

A bathroom built by the right specialists
The problem — A full bathroom that the client wanted finished to a genuinely high standard — the kind of quality and attention to detail that a chain's do-it-all fitter rarely delivers.
What Jamie did — Rather than one generalist rushing every stage, Jamie brought in a dedicated tiler, plasterer, electrician and decorator for each part of the job, coordinating them all around the plumbing so the finish held up everywhere you looked.
“Jamie did a great job - He brings in specialists for each part (tiling, plastering, electricians & decorators), so you get much better quality/attention to detail than you would get from the do it all fitters employed by a chain! Very happy with the finished result.”

A broken shower pump, sorted in days
The problem — A failed shower pump that had killed the pressure — the sort of fault that leaves a household without a usable shower until someone can fit them in.
What Jamie did — Jamie diagnosed the pump, fitted the customer in within a few days of first contact, and replaced it quickly for a fair price — keeping them updated throughout so they knew exactly what was happening.
“Jamie replaced a broken shower pump for us and did a great job. He sorted the issue quickly, for a fair price, and with great communication (including fitting us in within a few days of first contacting). We'll definitely be using JD Plumbing in the future!”

Three sinks and a radiator, old units taken away
The problem — A set of fixtures that needed replacing — three sinks and a radiator — with the added hassle of getting all the old units removed and disposed of.
What Jamie did — Jamie turned up on time, fitted the three new sinks and the new radiator to a high spec, and took every old unit away, leaving the client with nothing to dispose of themselves.
“Jamie turned up on time, completed the job to a high spec, we were really pleased with the result. We had 3 new sinks fitted and a new radiator, he took all old units away - would fully recommend.”

A water filter — and the worktop drilling handled too
The problem — A water filter installation that also needed a hole drilled through a kitchen worktop for the filtered tap — a specialist job in its own right that many plumbers won't take on.
What Jamie did — Jamie fitted the filter and sorted out a specialist to drill the worktop, so the whole thing was handled under one point of contact — friendly, reasonably priced, and done quickly.
“Jamie did a great job of installing our water filter, including sorting out someone to drill a hole in our kitchen worktop. He was friendly, reasonably priced and able to come to do the job quickly. Would highly recommend.”
